We got into the holiday spirit with Loehmann’s in order to reward our fashionable fan base and bring a little joy to the world (ok, maybe just the blogoshere). For this campaign, HIP GENIUS partnered with several fashion and lifestyle bloggers to create 6 winter-inspired giveaways to get everyone excited about the holidays and cold-weather styles.
For our giveaways, we collaborated with Lauren Messiah, Fashion Steele, Meredith and the New Yorkie, A Dash of Details, and Stained Couture to develop a handful of unique opportunities for our fans and their readers. This included asking fans to comment on how they would style themselves using the giveaway products or simply commenting on the posts themselves. Our products included everything from Burberry Sunglasses and a John Galliano scarf to an Amrita Singh necklace and Portolano gloves and wraps.
Meredith and the New Yorkie:
We took an integrated approach with this campaign by cross-promoting the giveaways on the Loehmann’s Facebook page and Twitter. In addition, we worked with each blogger’s social channels to ensure maximum exposure and encourage their readers to ‘like’ Loehmann’s to boost our fan base.
As a result of this giveaway, we were able to target our loyal fan base as well as reach new audiences – dedicated readers of our partner sites. By creating these collaborations, we’re placing Loehmann’s on the map among fashion bloggers and a like-minded, stylish community. Our goal is to create brand awareness among these savvy fashionistas, positioning Loehmann’s as the place to shop for fabulous fashions and a luxe lifestyle – all at “30-65% department store prices.” Who doesn’t love a bargain?!
