After exploring Pinster, we discovered that it has four main features to help with your Pinterest-ing efforts:

  • Scheduling Pins: With this tool you can pin items in advance and build out a queue of content you want to push out to your Pinterest followers. You can schedule pins up to the minute to make sure your Pinterest is constantly populated with fresh content.

  • Measure ROI: If you have a Google Analytics account, you can connect it seamlessly to Pinster to measure interactions and website referrals.

Pinster’s features can easily be applied to a retail brand because it taps into users preferences and behaviors when it comes to pinning products. At HIP GENIUS, we work with brands like Loehmann’s to post content that appeals to their specific shopper and user base.
So you’ve signed up for Pinster for your retail brand, now what? Here are a few ways a retail brand could utilize Pinster to optimize their social media:

  • Using Pinster’s audience analytics, you can post the content that most appeals to your audience. For example, Loehmann’s top pins are of shoes and it would be beneficial to post more of this type of content.
  • Looking at items most frequently pinned from your website can help inform which products to feature in social posts and which items deserve the spotlight in a website carousel.
  • Going on vacation? No problem! Scheduling pins in advance with Pinster keeps your pinning constant and you can make sure there is new content going up regularly.

For a free tool, Pinster is definitely worth signing up for! So take a look yourself and sign up here.
